Bespoke under-stairs office

An unused area beneath the stairs transformed into a fitted home office with made-to-measure storage, finished Shaker fronts and solid oak working surfaces.

From unused space to working room

A difficult angle. A useful place to work.

The area was opened up and taken back before new electrical points and lighting were installed and the walls prepared and plastered. Bespoke cabinetry was then made to follow the stair line precisely, combining an L-shaped oak desktop with coordinated oak shelving and painted Shaker-fronted storage. The finished result turns an awkward section of the room into a practical, permanent home office.
